Rules & Regulations
To ensure fair play, safety, and the overall integrity of the tournament, all players and teams are expected to strictly follow the rules listed below:
Player Registration
- Every player must be officially registered with the organizing committee before taking part in their first match.
- Unregistered players are not permitted to play under any circumstances.
- Teams must arrive 30 minutes before the published start time.
Match Regulations
- Standard limited-overs cricket laws will apply, with specific MOS tournament variations clearly communicated in advance.
- Overs per innings, field restrictions, and other format-specific rules must be strictly followed.
Umpire Authority
- The umpire’s decision on the field is final and binding.
- Players or teams showing dissent, arguing with officials, or displaying unsportsmanlike behavior may face warnings, penalties, or disqualification.
Team Punctuality
- Teams must report to the venue at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Failure to arrive on time may result in loss of toss, reduced overs, or forfeiture of the match, as decided by the organizing committee.
Safety & Protective Gear
- Batters and wicket-keepers must wear appropriate protective gear (helmets, pads, gloves, abdominal guards, etc.) at all times during play.
- Umpires have the authority to stop the game if safety standards are not met.
Code of Conduct
- All players, team officials, and supporters are expected to maintain discipline and sportsmanship, both on and off the field.
- Any misconduct (verbal abuse, physical altercation, or damage to property) will attract strict action, including suspension or expulsion from the tournament.
